Annyeong Winter! The Ultimate Muslim-Friendly Family Adventure to Korea

The K-Drama Holiday You’ve Been Waiting For

Whether you are a fan of BTS, Blackpink, or just love a good spicy bowl of Kimchi—Korea is the destination of the moment.

But for Muslim families, planning a trip to Korea can be tricky. Where do we find Halal BBQ? Is there a prayer room at the theme park? How do we navigate Jeju Island without driving?

At Hahnemann Travel, we take the stress out of your K-Holiday. Our Jeju, Skiing & Everland adventure is packed with fun, food, and faith-friendly facilities.

Here is why you should say “Kaja!” (Let’s go!) to Korea this winter.

    1. Jeju Island: The Hawaii of Korea

We start our journey by flying to the stunning Jeju Island.

    • Seongsan Ilchulbong: We hike (or just admire from below) the famous “Sunrise Peak.” The view of the ocean crashing against the volcanic rocks is breathtaking.
    • The Tangerine Farms: Jeju is famous for its sweet tangerines. In winter, you can experience picking them fresh from the trees—a hit with the children!
    • The Seafood: Being an island, Jeju offers some of the freshest seafood in the world. We arrange Muslim-friendly seafood meals so you can taste the local Abalone Porridge or grilled fish.

The breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage sites of Jeju Island.

    2. Snow Fun at the Ski Resort

For many Singaporean kids, this is the highlight of the trip: Touching snow for the first time.

    • Skiing 101: We visit a family-friendly ski resort. Whether you are a pro or a total beginner, it’s all about having fun. We can arrange rental gear so you look the part!
    • Snow Sledding: If skiing sounds too scary, grab a plastic sled and slide down the snowy hills. It is pure joy for all ages (even the grandparents love it!).

    3. Everland: Korea’s Disneyland

Get ready for a full day of screams and laughter at Everland, South Korea’s largest theme park.

    • T-Express: For the brave, this is one of the world’s steepest wooden roller coasters.
    • Safari World: Hop on the amphibious bus to see bears, tigers, and lions up close.
    • Prayer Room: One of the best things about Everland is that they have a dedicated prayer room for Muslim guests. You can enjoy the rides without worrying about missing your Solat.

    4. The Halal Foodie Experience

You cannot go to Korea and not eat the food!
Many people think Halal Korean food is impossible to find. We prove them wrong.

    • Halal Dakgalbi: We take you to restaurants serving this famous spicy stir-fried chicken dish (using Halal meat).
    • Korean BBQ: Yes, you will get to experience grilling marinated beef (Bulgogi) at the table, wrapped in fresh lettuce with garlic and ssamjang.
    • Street Snacks: Our guides will point out which street snacks (like Hotteok or roasted sweet potatoes) are safe to eat.

    Capture the Memories

From the volcanic cliffs of Jeju to the snowy slopes of the mainland, Korea is a visual feast. And with Hahnemann handling the itinerary, you don’t need to worry about the language barrier or navigation apps.

Pack your thermal wear and get ready for the coolest family trip of the year.

  • Turkey in White: Why Winter is the Most Magical Time to Visit

Turkey in White: Why Winter is the Most Magical Time to Visit

Escape the Heat, Embrace the Snow

Living in Singapore, we battle humidity 365 days a year. Sometimes, you just want to wear a thick coat, see your breath in the air, and drink a hot cup of tea without sweating.

    Welcome to Turkey in Winter.

While many tourists flock to Turkey in the scorching summer, the “in-the-know” travelers choose winter. The crowds are smaller, the scenery is dramatic, and the atmosphere is incredibly cozy.

At Hahnemann Travel, our Winter Classical Turkey Tour is designed to keep you warm, comfortable, and full of wonder. Here is why you should swap your slippers for boots this holiday season.

    1. Cappadocia: A Real-Life Fairy Tale

Cappadocia is beautiful year-round, but under a blanket of snow? It is magical.
The “Fairy Chimneys” (rock formations) look like they have been dusted with icing sugar.

    • The Cave Hotels: Don’t worry about the cold at night! We stay in authentic cave hotels or thermal hotels that are naturally insulated and cozy.
    • The Balloon Ride: If the weather permits, flying over a snowy landscape is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The photos you take here will make everyone back home jealous.

Building snowmen in Cappadocia – a memory your kids will never forget.

    2. Pamukkale: Nature’s Hot Tub

Imagine it’s chilly outside (maybe 5°C), but you are dipping your feet into steaming hot, mineral-rich water.

    • The Cotton Castle: Pamukkale means “Cotton Castle” in Turkish. In winter, the white limestone terraces blend with the winter sky, looking even more ethereal.
    • The Thermal Pools: Many of the hotels we use in this region have their own thermal baths. After a day of sightseeing, soaking in hot spring water is the ultimate shiok feeling for your muscles.

    3. No Crowds, No Sweat (Literally)

If you visit the ancient ruins of Ephesus in July, it can be 40°C. You are rushing from shade to shade, too hot to enjoy the history.

    • The Winter Advantage: In winter, the weather is crisp and cool. You can walk through the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre comfortably.
    • Better Photos: With fewer crowds, you don’t have to wait 10 minutes for people to move out of your frame. You get the ruins to yourself.

    4. Mount Uludag: The Winter Playground

On our way through Bursa (the former Ottoman capital), we often head up to Mount Uludag.

    • Snow Fun: This is a famous ski resort area. Even if you don’t ski, it’s a great place to ride the cable car, play in the deep snow, and enjoy the alpine views.
    • Shopping: Bursa is famous for high-quality silk and leather. Winter is the best time to shop for a stylish leather jacket at a fraction of the price you’d pay in Europe.

    5. Winter Warmers: Salep & Tea

Turkish food tastes even better when it’s cold.

    • Salep: You must try this. It’s a creamy, hot winter drink made from orchid tubers, sprinkled with cinnamon. It warms you from the inside out.
    • Roasted Chestnuts: You will see street vendors selling hot roasted chestnuts (Kestane) everywhere. They are the perfect walking snack.
